Our material life is surrounded by countless products and inventions such as electric lights, telephones, televisions, air conditioners, and many other physical, chemical, electromechanical, mechanical, and even future AI technologies.
Throughout history, we have witnessed the silent and tireless work of scientists. We all recognize that their contributions are also precious gifts that God has bestowed upon humanity. Thanks to their inventions, human life has reached an unprecedented level of comfort and modernity.
The creation of household appliances has freed women from heavy labor, allowed children to enjoy more time for play and learning, and increased productivity to provide a wide variety of foods that satisfy human needs and tastes.
The achievements of scientists have truly made humanity happier.
Therefore, UUI members—depending on each person, group, or center—may choose a special day of the year, or coincide with July 28, the Day of Wisdom and Enlightenment, to express gratitude to the souls and bodies of all scientists who have silently and diligently devoted themselves to improving human life through their discoveries and inventions.
