Our story
Initially, the former Professor, Doctor, Sir Master Luong Minh Dang founded Spiritual Human Yoga (S.H.Y) and taught the first class on July 20, 1989 in St. Louis, USA. Later, he changed the name Mankind Enlightenment Love (MEL).
Master Luong Minh Dang was born in Vietnam on January 30, 1942. From 1961 to 1975, he joined national army. Then he finally emigrated to the United States, becoming US citizen in 1985, taking residence in St. Louis, Missouri. Master Dang stated that he inherited his technique from previous masters: the founder of the Human Energy spiritual school allegedly was a certain Dasira Narada (1846-1924) from Sri Lanka. The founder’s successor, an Indian, is reported to initiate Luong Minh Dang in Vietnam in 1972, and died in Sri Lanka in 1980.
Master Luong Minh Dang taught courses on meditation and applying universal energy to heal, science and life fields which translated into many languages at the same time for students from more than 67 countries in the world (since 1998). In 2002, the total number of practitioners worldwide reached 2 million, of which more than 50,000 were scientists, university professors, medical doctors, dentists, pharmacists and spiritual researchers, etc…
After Master Luong Minh Dang passed away on August 12, 2007, according to the development of the field in each period and the suitability of each country, successive generations of MEL have maintained and developed the field of study with millions of students around the world under different names such as: MEL-HUE, HUESA, WETRUST, UEI…
As one of the earliest students to study with Master Luong Minh Dang, the former Grand Master, Doctor of Science Steve Long Tran continued the Universal Energy Institute (UEI) in Sacramento, USA in 2009. The former Dr. Steve Long Tran, along with his colleagues, continued to develop the field, helping many people learn about the simple but effective method of using universal energy to heal diseases, and the method of meditation to attract universal energy into the body to help the body balance with the environment and liberating people, developing their potential in the fields of science and life. In 2019, Universal Energy Institute (UEI) officially changed its name to the Unlimited Universe-Institute (UUI).
